Summary
After running Block level backups of Linux clients to CDOT, the /opt mount is increasing in size after every backup due to the relationship files being very large.
Symptoms
After running Block level backups of Linux clients to Netapp CDOT SVM's, the /opt mount point on the client is increasing in size after every backup due to very large relationship files not being removed.
The DPX/relationship directory on the client contains many large files starting with:
- BEXIMAGE.RAW.NDMP.<JOBID>
- BEXIMAGE.RAW.NDMP_FULL.<JOBID>
Resolution
This behavior will be addressed in a DPX Maintenance Update. However, a complete Maintenance Update is not available at this time. Contact Catalogic Software Data Protection Technical Support to obtain the required update referencing Issue ID DPSUST-3846.
