When is an iSCSI Initiator needed for DPX Agentless Backup?

All restore options require iSCSI Initiator for Agentless Backups.
1. VMDK Instant Access (LUN mapping of a VMDK from a snapshot to a node) requires iSCSI Initiator enabled on the target node.

2. All other Agentless VMware Backup restore operations require iSCSI Initiator enabled on the ESX server hosting the restored VM.

Tip: Click on Properties of the iSCSI Software Adapter to ensure that it is enabled.
Tip: iSCSI Initiator is not enabled by default. Ensure it is enabled before running restores.
