Summary
vSphere 6.5 is qualified and tested on DPX 4.5.0 or later, running agentless backups on DPX 4.4 will fail to run.
Symptoms
After upgrading to vSphere 6.5 all agentless backups fail with the following error:
- SNBSVH_658E Task 2 encountered error. Error message There has been some problem while running this task, reason (java.lang.Exception: All the disks have encountered errors)
- SNBSVH_826E ............Extended error: There has been some problem in processing disk ([XXXXXX] aaa.aaa.aaa/disk.vmdk), reason (NBD_ERR_NETWORK_CONNECT)
Resolution
Please note vSphere 6.5 is not supported or qualified on DPX 4.4.x. vSphere 6.5 is qualified on DPX 4.5.0 with Windows Proxy nodes. In order to resolve this issue, please upgrade the Master and all agentless proxy nodes to DPX 4.5.0.
