Block level backup to cDOT filer destination is failing with the error below:

This is likely the very first backup to the specific SVM, but this might not always be the case; the significant error here is Error(5, NDMP_PERMISSION_ERR)

 

Resolution

 

 

  1. Restart the DPX Advanced Protection Manager service on the node.
  2. Delete the node from the DPX Enterprise and re-add the node, then run a backup.
