Summary
After updating java 1.8 to latest java patch level 141 the DPX Management console fails to start with error "Could not verify signing in resource axis.jar"
Symptoms
After upgrading java to version 1.8.141 or later , the DPX Console fails to start with error:- Could not verify signing in resource axis.jar
Resolution
This issue has been addressed with the latest java patch (java 1.8 update 144) Please refer to the link below:

After upgrading to java 1.8 update 144 or later the GUI can launch without errors
Workaround:
To access the GUI after applying the java update please use the "Local Managment GUI" on the Master server by doing the following:
- On a Windows master server, you can start the management console by selecting the desktop icon that was installed with the software.The desktop icon does not appear on client installations. On a Windows master server or client, you can start the management console from the Windows program group, accessed from the Start menu; for example, Start > All Programs > DPX > Management Console.
- On a Linux master server, you can start the management console by running the bexgui script within productdirectory/misc: product-directory/misc/bexgui
