Summary
Large agentless backup fails with error :NegativeArraySizeException
Symptoms
When attempting to backup a very large Virtual machine with an 8TB VMDK file the backup fails with error:
- There has been some problem in processing disk ([vDisk22_ESX_XXX] XXXXXX XXXX/YYYYYYY AAAAA_4.vmdk), reason (NegativeArraySizeException)
Resolution
This behavior will be addressed in a DPX Maintenance Update. However, a complete Maintenance Update is not available at this time. Contact Catalogic Software Data Protection Technical Support for obtaining the required update referencing Issue ID DPSUST-4041.
