Symptoms
When attempting to browse the catalog to restore files File level restore cannot expand locations with an Umlaut (extended character ) in them
Resolution
The problem is due to node in question is missing a code page value. To resolve, re-scan the node in the node configuration screen, by changing the IP address to host name look up or vice versa and pressing apply. If after this operation the extended character directories still cannot be expanded please contact Catalogic Software Technical Support for further assistance.
