Block backup for SLES11 node failed with Cmagent timeout to register RC 12104
Symptoms
Error message in job log:

SNBSVH_988E APPH session setup failed with exception: ModException(0, Attempted connection to apph@TCL207 failed with exception: cm_ap_connect_str(apph@TCL207) failed, rc (12104), description (The server on the node did not register with CMAGENT within the timeout setting.))
Resolution
Check on client node if /tmp space is filled up. Clean up the free space and rerun job, backup should complete.
The following error is found in the client node Nibbler log, which caused the cmagent timeout and job failure:
