Summary
When a job runs it completes with an error code 4. However, there is no error from the job log.
Symptoms
The error is not consistent and can occur randomly. It occurs in both Windows and Linux environments.Job log shows error but no tasks have actually failed:
Thu Jan 11 01:01:41 2018 SNBSCH5705J Set job status: job < JOBNAME> (sched_id 1234567) failed (rc = 4)
Resolution
This behavior has been addressed in a DPX Maintenance Update. The update can be automatically installed via the DPX Software Update System user interface or can be manually downloaded from the Catalogic Software Online Support site. Check the Software Update Release Notes for your DPX release referencing Issue ID DPSUST-4211, available within the following product patches:
