Summary
Double Protection job instances on tapes do not show expiration date under 'Manage Tapes' screen
Symptoms
Under the Manage Tapes screen in DPX GUI, expanding a tape volser shows the job instances on the tape. Some of the DP jobs (Also called Double Protection, Archive to Media, or DPX Archive jobs) do not show expiration date. See 'screenshot 1-before condense' for reference.
Resolution
The behavior is by design, as those instances not showing expiration dates are the ones to be expired in the next catalog condense because they have reached their expiration time and are marked for deletion. Once the condense job is run and completed, those instances will not show up in the catalog. See 'screenshot2-after condense' for reference.
