Summary
Solution to the problem where you boot up a VM using the BMR iso, but find you cannot control the mouse.
Symptoms
If you do a bare metal recovery where the VM is the target machine, sometimes you find that you cannot use the mouse to navigate through the BMR screens. The mouse pointer is not visible and clicking the mouse anywhere has no effect and keyboard shortcuts are limited.
Resolution
In order to enable mouse control, you must add a USB controller to the VM. Go the vCenter, right click on the VM, and select 'Edit Settings'.In the New Device pulldown, select 'USB Controller'.
Save the settings and reboot the VM with the BMR iso. The mouse control will be enabled.
