Summary



This article describes how to generate a text listing of files that will be restored by a particular job.

Resolution



You can preview the results of a defined restore job with the bex command run from the bin directory of DPX (variables in the command appear in < > brackets):

./bex -s <Master Server Name> -u sysadmin -p <Your Sysadmin Password> -c "restore report -n <Restore Job Name>"

An example follows:
