Summary



The performance of Catalogic Software OSSV client agents degrades severely and appears to halt.

Symptoms



A primary client machine is running a teaming NIC configuration. Data transfer can be verified through the nibbler process on the client machine, which runs with very low CPU utilization.



Resolution



To identify this problem, set the properties of both NIC cards in the team to Autonegotiate. Then set them back to the correct link speed/duplex. After cycling the link speed, you should see a significant jump in the throughput for this node in the backups.

To solve this problem, perform the following options change on the filer console:

options ip.fastpath.enable off
