Resolution
If you are not using import/export slots, it is recommended to refresh the jukebox inventory every time tapes are removed / inserted into the tape library through Device Control > Devices and operate JukeBox. This should prompt you to query the contents of the jukebox and synchronize the DPX database.
You can make a parameter change to the SSJUKER module in order to force the initialization of the library (re-synchronize the DPX database with the jukebox) by placing -F on the SSJUKER module. The SSJUKER module is the Catalogic Software DPX module.
On Windows, modify the registry:
HKLM > Software > Syncsort > BackupExpress > servername > 0 > SSJUKER
On Unix, modify the start script:
Modify <BackupExpress>/bin/ssjuker
On NetWare, modify:
SYS:\ETC\SSJUKER
Append -F to the data contents of these entries in order to pass this flag to SSJUKER when the SSJUKER process initializes, forcing the initialization of the library.
