Starting from release 3.0.1 of DPX, viewing the patches.level file with an ASCII editor will provide information about your configuration's maintenance update level.
Resolution
You can determine which DPX Maintenance Update level you are at by opening the patches.level file in an ASCII editor.
The patches.level file, which can be found in the $SSPRODIR/updates/ directory contains a message similar to the one shown below:
0101
# This file is auto-generated by Backup Express
# DO NOT modify this file
This indicates that DPX is running patch level 0101.
