Summary
An attempt to reinstall a BEX / NSB / DPX client on a Windows 64-bit client may fail and request a 32-bit version installation of BEX / NSB / DPX before resuming.
Symptoms
After you have uninstalled BEX / NSB / DPX through Add or Remove Programs and try to re-install BEX / NSB / DPX, the following error message displays: "Previous 32bit Backup Express package found. Please uninstall 32bit Backup Express and resume installation."
Resolution
Open the Windows Registry on this node and search for HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Syncsort\Backup Express. If found, remove and reinstall.
