Summary



When you attempt to access DPX, it results in error message 8804, which indicates that the product key is expired. The message displays even though there is a valid license key installation. To resolve this issue, update the DPX license.

Symptoms



When you attempt to log into DPX, the following error message displays whenever DPX requests login credentials:

Database responded with error (8804) to request (login)



Resolution



To resolve this issue:

  1. Stop the DPX CMAgent service on the master server.
  2. Update the DPX license file with the valid license key. Refer to KB 45622 for information on updating the license file.
  3. Start the DPX CMAgent service on the master server.
  4. Log in to the management console.
