Summary
When you attempt to access DPX, it results in error message 8804, which indicates that the product key is expired. The message displays even though there is a valid license key installation. To resolve this issue, update the DPX license.
Symptoms
When you attempt to log into DPX, the following error message displays whenever DPX requests login credentials:
Database responded with error (8804) to request (login)
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
- Stop the DPX CMAgent service on the master server.
- Update the DPX license file with the valid license key. Refer to KB 45622 for information on updating the license file.
- Start the DPX CMAgent service on the master server.
- Log in to the management console.
