Summary
An agentless backup fails to create a Snapshot for a virtual machine.
Symptoms
The agentless backup job log contains the following error message:
SNBSVH_828E ............Error: There has been some problem while running VM Backup task, reason (java.lang.Exception: Error creating virtual machine snapshot reason An error occurred while quiescing the virtual machine. See the virtual machine's event log for details.)
The following displays when you view the error message in the vSphere Client:
Create virtual machine snapshot:An error occurred while quiescing the virtual machine. See the virtual machine's event log for details.

The guest OS has reported an error during quiescing. The error code was: 5 The error message was: 'VssSyncStart' operation failed: IDispatch error #8449 (0x80042301)

Note: In some instances, uninstalling and reinstalling VMware Tools on the virtual machine resolves this issue.
