Symptoms



A Block backup to NetApp storage job fails. Error "NDMP_NOT_AUTHORIZED_ERR" displays in the job log:

Resolution



To resolve this issue:

  1. Delete the DPX client from the Enterprise configuration.
  2. Ensure the Catalogic Software DPX Advanced Protection Manager service is running.
  3. Re-add the DPX client back into the Enterprise configuration using the same logical name.
