Step By Step


DPX Administrative Account Setup Procedures

1.     Within the domain controller client, create a user exclusively for DPX and assign it to “Domain User” group.

 
                 

2.     Log into the Microsoft Exchange client with domain or local admin privileges.

3.     Assign the new user account an account type and user rights. Navigate to server manager > local users and groups > groups to add the new user to the local “Administrators” group.

 

                 
4.     Assign the user to the Exchange “Organization Management” group.

 

5.     When complete, use the Block backup wizard in DPX to browse the Exchange cluster. All of the volumes, Exchange folders, BMR folder, and the physical server’s system state and system table should be display.
