Summary
Agentless backup of various virtual machines fail randomly.
Symptoms
Agentless backups fail and display the following error:
“Wed Mar 18 04:11:00 2015 SNBSVH_826E ............Extended error: There has been some problem in processing disk ([XXXX] YYYYY/ZZZZZZ.vmdk), reason (NBD_ERR_NETWORK_CONNECT)”
The ESX servers are running HP Agentless Management Service (AMS) on HP DL380 G8
Resolution
The problem is caused by HP AMS and HP has issued a patch to resolve it. The patch can be downloaded from:
