Symptoms
The following error message in the management console displays: “Virtualization proxy feature not available.”
The debug *.nbr log shows
Thu Apr 09 11:40:10 2015 SNBssn3066D Failed to load the library(D:\Program Files\DPX\bin\vixDiskLib.dll) rc(14001)
Thu Apr 09 11:40:10 2015 SNBssn3066D Vmware Proxy (NO)
The File bin\vixDiskLib.dll does exist.
Resolution
The VMware library vixDiskLib.dll cannot load successfully. This can be corrected by installing the Microsoft visual c ++ 2008 redistributable package from the following location:
