Summary
This is a procedure to get access to a 7-mode NDMP dump of SnapVault images made for long term retention if, in the meantime, a migration to CDOT has been performed. It describes how to restore a single 7-mode SnapVault backup image to CDOT and use IA Anywhere to map this image.
Step By Step
| 1. Create a qtree on the SVM with the name displays in the screenshot below. You must create a qtree for every DiskID/disk image that you are restoring from tape (eg. beximage.raw). 2. Run the restore job to the created qtree. 3 Start IAanywhere and select the volume with the Create new snapshot on volume option selected. |
