Summary
The system fails to boot after an SLES upgrade and DPX uninstall.
Symptoms
After upgrading from SLES 11 to SLES 12, then uninstalling DPX, the system fails to boot.
Resolution

Note: Any drivers that were installed before replacing the kernel should be reinstalled.
