Summary
After changing the IP address of the DPX master server, a 10049 (wsaeaddrnotavail) error displays.
Symptoms
After changing the IP address on the master server and modifying the -hn setting on SSICMAPI within the registry, the Local Management Console and anything run from the DPX command prompt returns 10049.
Note: The Management Console (non local GUI) will function properly under these circumstances
Resolution
The setenv.bat under DPX\tools directory also has a SSICMAPI variable which still points to the old Master servers IP address. Open the setenv.bat in an ASCII editor and edit the SSICMAPI= line to reflect the new IP address assigned to the master server.
