Symptoms
When doing BMR of a physical Windows 2012 machine to a VM, the BMR process completes but the VM cannot boot up,
with error message that:

This system has been booted using BIOS firmware however an attempt was made to recover a EFI system partition.
Only BIOS system can be recovered in this mode.
Only data volumes can be recovered using this firmware.
Resolution
For Windows 2012

1. restart the VM
2. when 'VMWARE' shows up on screen, hit F8
3. select Boot Manager
4. select EFI Internal Shell
5. wait for the prompt of 'Shell>' to come up
6. then follow the suggestion in KB https://kb.catalogicsoftware.com/s/article/46559/en-us
