Summary
An agentless backup fails with a message indicating that it can't find a matching vCenter, yet the vCenter exists.
Symptoms
The full message associated with the error will have this form:Tue Jan 23 12:45:30 2018 SNBSVH_941E Failed to create the VM task for node (DPXQA) (Reason: Cannot find a destination matching vCenter(DPXQA), src(/DPXQA/Host/Resource-Groups/VM name; and more information))
The relevant characteristic of the virtual machine name is that one of the components has an embedded semi-colon.
Resolution
This behavior will be addressed in a future DPX Maintenance Update.As workaround to resolve the issue please remove the embedded semi-colon in the VM name
