Question

Answer
A Backup Job containing some SQL databases which will display a warning: "The databases discovered on this node may have changed from last backup instance...." if the databases included in this job were changed or removed since the last backup.
The Warning will persist until the last job instance with the correct amount of databases has expired, even if no other changes to the databases protected by this job occur.

This behavior will be addressed in a DPX Maintenance Update. However, a complete Maintenance Update is not available at this time. A hotfix for this issue can be loaded from https://mysupport.catalogicsoftware.com/product/DPX452/DPSUST-4359.zip
To apply the hotfix:
- Download the hotfix the above location
- Extract the compressed file.
- Stop the DPX Services on each Windows agentless proxy server and the Master server running DPX 4.5.2
- Rename the SVH.jar in DPX/lib to SVH.jar.org
- Copy in the new SVH.jar to DPX/lib
- Restart the DPX Services
Now resave the problematic job with the same name.
During the next run the Database Change Counter should have been reset to 0.
The Warning will only return once the Databases included in this Job change again.
If the issue continues to occur after applying the hotfix please contact Catalogic Software Data Protection Technical Support for obtaining the required update referencing Issue ID DPSUST-4359.
