Summary
The Open Enterprise Server (OES) Linux cluster backup fails.
Symptoms
1) The job report shows the following error
xx.xx.104.39 <date> SNBFBR3072J Unable to find information for disk (/var)
xx.xx.104.106 <date> SNBJH_3053E *** File browser on node WIL-OES1 returned error -1 ***
2) When clicking the TEST button in DPX GUI / Configure / Enterprise for the node, it pops up an error:
Netware server at node xxxxx is not available.
3) In the Node browser log (.nbl) on the OES server the following log entries are seen:
<date> SNBNBR1062E sms rc is (fffdffd7) from routine (NWSMTConnectToTargetService)
<date> SNBNBR1065D Attempting to release target at connection (1)
<date> SNBNBR5329D NBR : PROG : nb_proc_q_targets : error calling ms_target_connect (rc = 1202)
Resolution
To resolve this issue, update the eDirDB and root passwords in DPX Configuration.
In DPX GUI / Configure / Enterprise, update the password for the eDirDB and root password for the OES node.
