Symptoms
On certain days the incremental backup size is much larger than the average per day. For example, an agentless backup run at regular intervals (e.g. every Monday), sometimes almost the entire drive space is used.
Resolution
This may be because that client machine has a process that impacts changing blocks, such as Microsoft chkdsk utility or de-fragmentation software.Determine if a task is listed and active with CHKDSK-Function on the system in question. If so, stop those tasks.
