Is it possible to backup a deduplication volume with DPX?
Answer
Yes, a backup from a Windows deduplicated volume is supported for BlockBackup (AgentBased) and AgentlessBackup (VMware).The volume you want to back up will be displayed in the DPX Block-Wizard and can be selected.
A DPX File Backup is not possible because of the deduplication restrictions.
The volume you want to back up will be displayed in DPX as DEDUPLICATED and cannot be selected.
