Summary

This article describes how to selectively remove database entries (for example, SQL, Exchange, Lotus, etc.) from the catalog.

Resolution

In some cases, the introduction of a new product key (for example, from a trial license to a production license) results in a license violation. In these cases, there is frequently a return code that references the nature of the violation.

A procedure is available to remove selective backup tasks using a command-line utility, which is supported only under the direction of DPX Technical Support. For instructions, contact DPX Technical Support regarding this KB article (38776).
