Summary
I will be relocating my servers to a new ISP. This will change their IP addresses on both the public and DMZ side. Will the DPX license be affected? Will I need to acquire a new license key for the master server?
Resolution
No, DPX Licenses are keyed to the Hostname of the master server. If only the IP address changes the license key will remain functional.
Please note that other issue could be encountered depending on your Enterprise configuration. For example if the nodes within your Enterprise are scanned in with the IP address you will need to update those nodes.
In addition, if the "-hn " parameter on the SSICMAPI environment variable was ever implemented, this option needs to be updated to reflect the correct IP address.
