Symptoms
The DPX management console displays the following dialog box while attempting to perform an Instant Access map.
Resolution
Even during an IA map failure, the backup to the storage system continues to succeed. However, the IA map may fail with rc=23008 because the IA map operation refers to an iSCSI enabled (physical or logical) network interface.
In this scenario, the logical virtual network interface 0 (vif0) is disabled for iSCSI.
Validate available iSCSI interfaces on the storage system by opening a telnet session to the storage system and running the command:
iscsi interface show

Ensure that the required interface is enabled.
In the above example, interface vif0 is disabled and you can enable it by running the command:
iscsi interface enable vif0
