Summary
Restoring to a Windows mapped drive fails with an access denied error.
Symptoms
If you attempt to restore to a Windows Mapped Drive, the restore may fail with a write failure. This is similar to the following Job Log entry, where H: is the mapped drive:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ssevthnd Mon Mar 29 16:12:43 2010 SNBEHD4281E 3056: Job 1269900645 task 1 file 142187 [H:\Directory]: error 32 (error opening file for writing at destination)
Resolution
Due to Windows security restrictions, the CMAGENT login for the destination node must have domain admin credentials to restore to that mapped drive.
