Summary
During the initial stages of Agentless VMware Backup, a virtual machine snapshot is created on the VMware server and incremental bitmaps are generated. Two options are implemented to aid in the test and troubleshooting of the VMware Backup feature.
Resolution
The two options are:
The "--keep_vm_snapshot" option prevents the clean up of virtual machine snapshots on the VMware server.
The "--keep_bitmaps" option prevents the cleanup of bitmaps generated on the proxy.
These options are passed as options to the Java command within the ssrmi or ssrmi.bat scripts.
