Summary

After installing DPX Block backup features on a supported Linux node, the Linux boot sequence reports that a new module taints the kernel. This is a known and expected condition; any non-GPL licensed kernel module from a third party vendor triggers a similar message.

Symptoms

After the DPX for Linux Block backup feature installation, the booting kernel prints a message similar to:

Sep 1 15:30:36 HostA kernel: cj_6_4_13: module license 'unspecified' taints kernel.
