Summary
On a Novell Open Enterprise Server, system files that are copied into a directory after a base backup are not included in the next incremental or differential backup.
Resolution
This is a limitation of the Target Service Agent for the File System (TSAFS). Copied or moved files have a new creation time, but the modification time is preserved during the copy or move operation. The TSAFS selection list includes these files based on their modification time. Since DPX reads what TSAFS is returning for backup, it has no control over this mechanism.
