Summary
This article describes the purpose of the dom*.xml files and identifies which of these files are safe to remove.
Symptoms
The dom*.xml files are continuously generated in the root of the DPX folder.
Resolution
Any dom*.xml files older than 7 days can be safely deleted, this is the typical retention time for log files. These files are supposed to be temporary, the actual backup documents are cataloged after a completed backup.
