Summary
When deleting a backup job, associated Archive (DP) Jobs may not be deleted, they will still appear in the schedule.
This article explains the procedure of deleting Archive (DP) Jobs from the schedule manually.
Symptoms
DP job still appear in DPX GUI:
Resolution without syncui
1. Login to DPX master by ssh.
2. Go to location: /opt/DPX/sched/jobs
3. Delete files with DP job name. Example below:
Resolution with syncui
1. Login to DPX master by ssh.
2. Go to location /opt/DPX/bin
3. Login to syncui:
. bexenv
./syncui
c s <IP-address-of-MS> sssched
4. List sched jobs:
sched listjobs
Output:
5. Delete all instances of the dp job. Example:
sched delete dp1708589711-DIFR
sched delete dp1708589711-INCR
sched delete dp1708589711-BASE
